All Gamers Wins Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, Marking Historic Shift

A China-based esports organization called All Gamers achieved an unexpected victory at the Esports World Cup Club Championship, finishing with 5,300 points across 25 tournaments spanning 24 different game titles. They surpassed defending champions Team Falcons from Saudi Arabia, who secured 4,600 points, by a comfortable 700-point margin.

The tournament concluded on August 23 in Paris, marking a significant power shift in competitive gaming’s largest multi-title event. France’s Team Vitality rounded out the podium with 3,300 points.

Trackmania Upset Changes the Game

The decisive moment for All Gamers came from French player Gwendal “Gwen” Duparc, who won the inaugural Trackmania event at the tournament, earning $7 million in prize money for his team—the largest single payout in EWC history for this format. Team Falcons faced an early exit from the Trackmania bracket in the quarterfinals, which proved to be a turning point in the competition.

In addition to their Trackmania success, All Gamers also claimed gold in Tekken 8 and achieved runner-up finishes in Chess, Free Fire, and Honor of Kings.

Historic Venue and Prize Pool

This edition of the tournament was notable for being the first held outside Saudi Arabia, primarily due to regional instability linked to conflicts in Iran. The event ran from July 6 to August 23, featuring a record total prize pool of $75 million and attracting over 2,000 players from more than 200 clubs worldwide. The closing ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including French President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Organizers have confirmed that the next edition of the EWC will return to Riyadh in 2027.
