Bitmine's Ethereum Holdings Exceed 6 Million ETH Following Recent Purchases

Bitmine Immersion Technologies has announced that its Ethereum treasury has surpassed 6 million ETH, reaching approximately 6,041,481 ETH as of October 18. The company acquired an additional 12,535 ETH in the past week alone, marking a notable milestone in corporate crypto treasury management.

This substantial holding represents about 4.9% of Ethereum’s circulating supply, with more than five million ETH staked. The staked ETH not only serves as a long-term asset but also generates network rewards through participation in validation, distinguishing it from Bitcoin holdings that primarily rely on price fluctuations.

Bitmine's overall portfolio, which includes crypto assets, cash, and marketable securities, is valued at approximately $15.1 billion, indicating a significant commitment to Ethereum's potential.
