CrowdStrike Reports Strong Q2 Results, Boosts Guidance Amid AI Demand

CrowdStrike has delivered impressive fiscal second-quarter results, reporting revenue of $1.47 billion for Q2 2027, a 26% increase compared to the previous year. This performance surpassed analyst expectations, contributing to a more than 10% rise in shares during after-hours trading.

The company's subscription revenue reached $1.40 billion, reflecting a 27% year-over-year growth. Notably, net new annual recurring revenue (ARR) surged to $333 million, a remarkable 51% increase from the same quarter last year. Total ending ARR now stands at $5.84 billion, a 25% rise from the prior year.

One of the key drivers behind this growth is CrowdStrike's Falcon Flex, a flexible consumption model that allows customers to adopt various modules across its platform. Falcon Flex generated $2.29 billion in ARR, more than doubling year-over-year with a 101% increase.

In light of these results, CrowdStrike has raised its full-year fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to between $5.99 billion and $6.01 billion. The company also increased its net new ARR growth target to a midpoint of 34%, up 630 basis points from previous forecasts.

CEO George Kurtz emphasized the significance of AI in the cybersecurity landscape, stating, "Every enterprise will run on AI, and securing it is the largest market opportunity in our history." The Falcon platform utilizes AI for threat detection and response, positioning CrowdStrike at the forefront of AI security.
