HIVE Digital Technologies Secures $350M GPU Cloud Contract for AI Infrastructure

HIVE Digital Technologies has announced a landmark GPU cloud contract through its subsidiary BUZZ High Performance Computing, valued at approximately $350 million. This five-year agreement is with an unnamed investment-grade enterprise customer and is expected to generate around $500,000 in daily revenue once operational, projected to begin in Q4 2026.

The contract will deploy a dedicated AI infrastructure cluster utilizing 2,016 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs, configured in NVIDIA’s GB300 NVL72 rack-scale systems. The setup will leverage NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking for high-bandwidth, low-latency communication, while VAST Data’s storage platform will support data management.

This deal adds roughly $70 million in annualized recurring revenue (ARR) to BUZZ HPC’s existing contracts, bringing its total contracted GPU cloud ARR to about $180 million. Prior to this agreement, BUZZ HPC had approximately $35 million in active realized ARR. The company aims to reach a GPU ARR of around $200 million by the end of Q4 2026.

HIVE's recent contract follows a $220 million agreement signed in June 2026 with Bell AI Fabric and Cohere Inc., marking a significant shift from its origins as a Bitcoin miner to a focus on high-performance computing and AI cloud services. This dual-engine strategy aims to provide more stable revenue streams compared to traditional mining operations.
