Mercado Bitcoin Collaborates with Sui for Asset Integration in Brazil

Mercado Bitcoin, a leading cryptocurrency exchange in Brazil, has outlined a strategic partnership with Sui, aiming to enhance access to SUI and stablecoins within the Brazilian market. The collaboration includes the integration of USDsui as collateral for lending products and plans to tokenize real-world assets on the Sui network.

The announcement made on October 29 highlights a roadmap for the integration, which encompasses various stages of development. The initial phase will allow users to purchase, sell, and transfer SUI, USDC, and USDsui on Mercado Bitcoin’s platform. Additionally, USDsui will be accepted as collateral in the exchange's lending offerings.

While the partnership is promising, it remains exploratory in nature, particularly regarding potential integration with Hashi, Sui’s Bitcoin orchestration layer.
