MEXC Sees 21% Growth in New-Token Traders and 31% Rise in Tokenized Stock Volume in August

Mutsamudu, Comoros, September 14, 2026 – MEXC, a pioneer in 0-fee digital asset trading, has announced its trading data for August, highlighting a 21% month-over-month increase in users trading new tokens. The top-performing token, Niu Lai (牛来), achieved a remarkable peak gain of 14,143%.

During the same period, the trading volume of tokenized stocks surged by 31%, contributing to a 13% overall increase in TradFi Spot trading volume. The top 10 tokens by peak gain averaged 3,358%, up 145% from the previous month, with five tokens also ranking among the top 10 by Spot trading volume, collectively accounting for 65% of that volume.

Among the top 10 tokens by trading volume, five memecoins made up 55% of the total volume, while projects focused on AI, RWA, DeFi, and cross-chain infrastructure accounted for the remaining 45%. This indicates a diverse interest in both memecoins and utility-focused projects.

In the realm of traditional finance, tokenized stock trading volume was the main driver of growth, with assets like CRCL, NBIS, and SPCX ranking among the top 10 by trading volume. Additionally, gold-related assets saw a 43% increase in trading volume, with GOLD (PAXG) leading in TradFi Spot.

Precious metals futures also demonstrated significant activity, with XAU volume increasing by 57% and SILVER by 39%. However, XAUT experienced a decline of 10%, indicating a concentration of growth in specific assets.

To support this growing demand, MEXC launched three flagship campaigns in August, each with a total prize pool of 1 million USDT. The “TradFi Million-Dollar Gala” attracted over 174,000 registrations and generated an average daily trading volume of 4.2 billion USDT.
