Predict Fun Users Report $260K Loss Amid Ongoing Draining Incident

Cryptelio Editorial Published 27 Oct 2026 · 18:30 UTC

Users of the BNB-based prediction market Predict Fun have suffered losses estimated at around $260,000 in a draining incident that is likely still ongoing. Crypto analyst Dethective reported being drained of approximately $5,000, linking the incident to Predict Fun. The stolen funds were reportedly bridged to Ethereum and subsequently sent to the crypto mixer Tornado Cash.

Another analyst, Naeven, tracked the funds and identified 19 victims, estimating the total loss to be 105 ETH, roughly equivalent to $260,000. Naeven warned that there could be additional victims and advised users to withdraw any remaining funds from Predict Fun.

Predict Fun, a product of YZi Labs and backed by Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, operates similarly to Polymarket, allowing users to place bets on real-world events. Despite the incident, Predict Fun's earnings for 2026 are recorded at just over $9 million, according to crypto tracker DefiLlama.

The platform has not yet commented on the incident, but it is under scrutiny as it recently launched its token, PREDICT, with a valuation of $1.43 billion. This valuation has raised eyebrows among analysts, who suggest it may be inflated compared to similar projects.
