RB Salzburg and Crystal Palace Compete for Torino's Alieu Njie Amid Transfer Talks

Alieu Njie’s agent has confirmed ongoing negotiations between RB Salzburg and Crystal Palace for the young Swedish winger currently at Torino. The player, valued at approximately €3 million, has sparked significant interest, particularly from Crystal Palace, which has reportedly made an offer around €26 million including bonuses.

RB Salzburg is working with a tighter budget, proposing around €12 million, which includes a €10 million fixed fee and €2 million in performance-related bonuses. Torino has already rejected lower initial offers, indicating they are not in a hurry to sell, especially with Njie’s contract running until June 2029 and an option to extend for another year.

Njie, who was born on May 14, 2005, is a left winger capable of playing as a forward. He joined Torino's youth setup in 2021 after leaving Forssa BK in Sweden and made his senior debut in 2024, scoring in his first match. At just 21, he represents a promising prospect, with clubs willing to invest heavily based on his potential rather than current output.
