The United States has intensified its military operations in the Strait of Hormuz, enforcing a blockade against Iran by targeting merchant vessels that attempt to breach the blockade. Recent actions by US Central Command (CENTCOM) include disabling multiple ships, such as the Curacao-flagged oil tanker Belma and another vessel identified as the Lavine, with strikes aimed at their propulsion systems rather than sinking them.
