Utorg Introduces Utapp Crypto Wallet and Card for iOS Users

Utorg has officially launched its self-custodial Utapp wallet and card for iOS users, marking a significant step in the company's consumer product expansion. This new app allows users to buy, hold, swap, send, and spend cryptocurrencies all in one place.

The introduction of Utapp aims to create a foundation for additional wallet, card, and payment features that Utorg plans to roll out in the coming months. Notably, the iOS version includes gasless crypto swaps alongside its core functionalities.

Existing iPhone users can easily restore access to their wallets and cards in Utapp using their recovery phrase, with Utorg providing a detailed guide via email. This update currently applies only to iOS, while Android users can continue using the app as before.

Daniel Stolberg, Co-founder of Utorg, emphasized that Utapp is not merely a cosmetic update but a robust platform designed for the next phase of the company's growth. He stated, "It gives us a stronger foundation to bring new wallet, card, and payment products to users, while keeping the experience simple and putting control of funds where it belongs: with the user."

Utorg's ecosystem now serves over 2 million users across more than 130 countries, combining a self-custodial wallet with tools for managing digital assets. Users can also spend crypto at over 80 million merchants worldwide through the company's card product.

With its products being MiCA-compliant, Utorg is well-positioned to operate within the EU's regulatory framework for crypto-asset services. The company plans to continue expanding its offerings and user base, with further announcements regarding new features, partnerships, and product launches expected in the coming months.
