SitusAMC to Pay $5.3 Million Settlement for Data Breach Affecting 662,796 Customers

SitusAMC Holdings Corporation, a New York-based real estate finance firm, has reached a $5.3 million settlement to address claims related to a data breach that occurred on November 12, 2025. The breach involved unauthorized access and exfiltration of personal data from the company's systems, impacting approximately 662,796 individuals.

As part of the settlement, class members may receive up to $5,000 for documented out-of-pocket losses, while those without proof can expect an estimated cash payment of $75 on a pro rata basis. Additionally, qualifying California residents may receive an extra $50. All affected individuals will also be eligible for one year of credit monitoring services through CyEx Financial Shield Complete.

SitusAMC has denied any wrongdoing and stated that the incident has been contained, clarifying that no ransomware was involved. The court has yet to make a decision in favor of either party. Claims must be submitted by November 6, 2026, with a final approval hearing scheduled for November 11, 2026.
