Solana's Stocklana Hackathon Sees 604 Submissions for $126K in Prizes

Solana's Stocklana hackathon, which focused on the theme of tokenized stocks, recently wrapped up with an impressive 604 project submissions. Participants were vying for a total prize pool of $126,000, with winners expected to be announced around October 2, 2026.

The hackathon, launched on September 11, 2026, marked the debut of Solana's new self-serve platform for developer competitions. Originally planned as a one-week event, the submission deadline was extended to September 25, 2026, attracting 1,182 registrants.

The prize pool is divided into two segments: $100,000 for the main track and an additional $26,000 from bounties provided by ecosystem partners PreStocks, Tessera, and Meteora. These partners focus on tokenized pre-IPO shares and private equities, aiming to democratize access to investment opportunities that have traditionally been limited to wealthy individuals.

The hackathon specifically targeted applications that leverage Solana's capability for 24/7 trading, which has seen significant activity outside conventional market hours. As of mid-September 2026, over 800,000 holders were engaged in Solana's tokenized equity ecosystem, with 63% of trading volume occurring when traditional exchanges were closed.
